Welcome to the sunny island of St. Lucia, located in the Eastern Caribbean. Known for its rich culture and beautiful landscape, my family and I vacationed here during the month of December.
On the way to the hotel we drove by this breathtaking site. The palm trees and clear water had me so excited to go swimming.
YEAAA!!!! Our bags are in the room and I'm off to the beach. Elated, I skip down the sandy strip ready to jump in.
After about two hours in the water my brothers are ready to get something to eat. And by the look on Chase's face he could devour a whole horse. (From the left: Cameron, Chase)
Yummy after our first day in St. Lucia my whole family dined at one of the hotel restaurants. My favorite part; this mango creme brule.
Warned earlier by the hotel staff to be weary of the foul "beaked" resident parrot, me and my brother Chase had to see it to believe it. After stuffing our faces, we found the bird cage. And believe me this bird has the mouth of a sailor.
Excited for day two, I board a catamaran from the hotel's shore. My family and I thought the day long cruise would be a great way to see other areas of the island and spend time with each other.
Almost at our destination my cousin Jourdan gives me her best America's Next Top Model pose in front of the Piton Mountains.
Next Stop, Sulfur Springs Park in Soufriere, St. Lucia. Here at the worlds only drive in volcano we bathed in the piping hot, smelly sulfur mud. Locals say that the sulfur can heal any ailment and leaves your skin baby soft.(From the left: Jourdan, Jasmine, Reha)
